REGISTRATION: Register for 2017 Armchair Book Expo!

2017 Armchair Book Expo
is now open for participant registration!!

Armchair Book Expo is an online conference that runs in conjunction with Book Expo in New York City. There are a large number of people around the world that are not able to join in the literary celebrations of Book Expo, so Armchair Book Expo brings the celebration to you by allowing networking among other book bloggers, authors, and publishers as well as special coverage of the event, all from the comfort of your very own armchair. For more information, be sure to check out our FAQ page!

Last year, we had hundreds of registered participants partaking in our daily discussion topics, twitter chats, Instagram challenge, and giveaways.  As in past years, the Armchair Book Expo team will be bringing you awesome guest posts, featured giveaways, and topics that we can all relate to as book lovers.

In the weeks to come, we will be announcing our official agenda, scheduling twitter chats, and sharing our Instagram challenge. In the meantime, mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 31-Sunday, June 4, 2017, grab our button to add to your site (please be sure to credit our artist Boquilla's Window of Big Bend Productions!), and complete the registration form below.  We have heard your feedback this year, and will be sending an email in the weeks before Armchair Book Expo kicks off with reminders and special links.

(Please be sure to only register once. If you're unsure if you've registered check our List of 2017 Participants first. There may be a time delay in seeing your name appear on this list because we manually check each entry.  Thanks!)

  1. For book bloggers unable to attend BookExpo in New York City May 31-June 2, 2017, the online May 31-June 4 Armchair BookExpo is the next best thing. Having been allowed to participate in the past (I took a chance and tried it once), I can say from experience that it's extremely well organized and serves as a vital resource in conjunction with the real deal in NYC. Although I don't blog exclusively about books, I care a great deal about them and refer to them frequently in my blog, A 1961-65 Park College Diary. (I'm presently composing the April 2017 entry and then will begin editing the blog - including annotations - starting with the January 1, 1960 (January 1, 2010) diary entry). And, of course, I'm seeking book publication. I participated in Armchair BookExpo (formerly Armchair BEA) in 2012, the year I joined Twitter, and taught myself to participate in the Armchair Twitter chat. Using the above form I've completed my registration for the complimentary 2017 Armchair BookExo community of book bloggers. I hope you will do so, too, if you will be elsewhere than New York.
