As the 2013 edition of Book Expo America gets underway in New York City today, the Armchair BEA team welcomes you to our fourth annual virtual conference! We're glad you're joining us to for the next few days, here and on Twitter, for networking, conversation about books and blogging, and opportunities to bring home some books--all without leaving your chair.

Let's start things off by going around the table, so to speak, and making introductions. We posted this year's self-interview questions last week--today, you're invited to answer five of them in a post on your own blog, and link up here. Once you've done that, start making the rounds--click those links and meet your fellow Armchair BEA participants!

In addition to our traditional daily blogging/networking topics, we've added something new this year: a daily featured book genre/category! (This is a book-expo week, right?) Today we're talking about Classics, and we invite you to talk about them on your blog too--we'll put up a separate link tool for you to add your posts to that discussion post.

    2. Oh maybe! I just assumed that since the post was up at 12 EST that the linky should be open too... *sigh* I guess it's true what they say about assuming ;)

  10. I've been blogging about Mid-Grade writing for almost two years. Unlike other blogs, I tend to focus on the craft of writing and themes as opposed to reviewing specific books. Blog? http://mgreaction.wordpress.com

  11. Wow I just spent 3 hours visiting about 35 blogs. I wish I had enough free time visiting all the links! Hopefully over the week I'll visit everyone :)
