What another great year of Armchair BEA!  We have had more than 600 registered participants, amazing guest articles, daily topics in which everyone could contribute, and giveaways galore; but alas, Armchair BEA 2012 must come to an end.  However, the beauty of enjoying this event from your armchair is that you can keep on coming back for more all year long:  to re-read, to reference, and to review.  Let's do a quick recap of what was brought to you this year . . .

A Look Into BEA 2012

Throughout the week, we have had giveaways galore!  Here on the site, we had our daily giveaways (listed below) thanks to our multitude of sponsors.  If you have shown up on any of these lists, don't forget to submit your top three choices, and send a special thank you to the winning sponsor (forms available on each announcement post)!

We also had a day completely devoted to giveaways from our participants.  Some of these may still be open, so be sure to hop on over and browse a while.

Last, but not least, we also have some final giveaway announcements ... BIG giveaway announcements!!  Please note that these final winners will be receiving confirmation emails directly from Armchair BEA, so be sure to check your email and respond ASAP!

The first little surprise giveaway comes from BEA Bloggers Conference. Two lucky winners will receive a Bloggers Conference tote filled with BEA swag!  Congratulations to . . .

The second surprise giveaway comes from The Apocalypsies.  Ten lucky winners will receive some Apocalypsies swag ... swag "like there is no tomorrow!"  Congratulations to . . .

Throughout the week, the big giveaway talk centered around the Seekerville giveaway of a Kindle Touch.  Now is the time to announce the lucky winner of this generous gift from these amazing women, so without further ado . . .

I cannot close the week without also sending out a special shout-out to an amazing person.  This woman has unexpectedly stepped up to help in many of the tedious behind-the-scene tasks, proving to be invaluable to the success of this week.  Thank you to Jasmine of The Bookish Mama!

The Armchair BEA team thanks you for joining in the celebration and we look forward to seeing you again in 2013.  To ensure that we continue to bring you the latest, greatest, and best, we ask that you share your final thoughts with us in this Armchair BEA 2012 Survey.  We read and we listen to your feedback, so share away!

Until next year . . .

  1. Thanks for all the hardwork every did. It's not easy to put on a conference, workshop or convention not even virtually. It was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to meet so many terrific book bloggers. Nothing like a huge conference room of bibliophiles to get your book on. Thanks!

Next year I'll know to look for this and it won't be such a last minute thing to participate. Learned a lot, thanks to all. (And thanks to so many great book bloggers who stopped by to say hello and comment. It's a pleasure to discover you.)

  2. Well done, yet again. Thank you for creating such a wonderful week-long event!

  3. Yeah for Jasmine! She did a great job with the twitter parties (and other stuff, I'm sure).

  4. Thank you for the surprise giveaway and for a wonderful week of bringing together book bloggers. Superbly done.

  5. Sorry, didn't enter my name properly...

  6. Thank you to everyone that contributed to a great week. Congrats to all the winners.

  7. This was so fun and I made some quality connections. Thanks!

  8. Thank you guys again for all the hardwork and throwing this event. It was my first year participating, but I loved the experience. I can't wait for next year!

I met a ton of new bloggers, found a bunch of new blogs to follow, and heard about even more books I want to read. The posts every day were also extremely interesting, especially the one of the survey results.

    Thank you!
