Wow, what a tough post. There are just so many great books released and soon to be released that I just know I've missed a ton.
I have a feeling after checking out some of these blogs my reading pile will be growing exponentially!
oops, sorry about that! my linky was broken, but it should be fixed now.
It's always difficult to pick the bests. Especially if there are so many of them!
inga from http://www.ingasilbergbooks.com
It was definitely difficult picking the favourites! I might have thrown in a series there somewhere in my top 5 list... (a)
Now I'm off to take a look at some bookish posts! :D
Rebecca @ kindle fever
I couldn't pick one...I picked five!
http://breadcrumbreads.blogspot.com/search/label/Armchair%20BEA%202011
I picked all my four and five star reads for the year. 18 books, but it was worth it!! Thanks to all who check it out. I will take a look at some when I get home from work tonight :o)
picked my 5 so far. :) though i'm not sure if all of them are going to be promoted in BEA. nevertheless they are really good! :)
Thanks Armchair BEA You are awesome!
I'm having so much fun! And meeting so many great people. So glad a friend suggested this to me.
:) Heidi
So many great books coming to BEA! So jealous of everyone going, too. LOL
Wish I could go to BEA (don't understand why it during the week this year). The list of books I saw from best of children's from BEA looks interesting. Some possibly good stuff from new authors and popular authors. Maybe I can win some ARCs from these authors here?
My giveaway post coincided with the blogging topic today. Instead of me talking about a Book of 2011, though, I have the author talking about her book. (I figure you can read my thoughts on books all the other days of the year).
It was way to hard to think of my favorite books from this year! It was also fun to see everyone's posts. I got some new ideas for my reading!
I picked my best of books so far
okay i'm going to try to do this for the top five so far in 2011. good question.
Just finished posting my Best Of... list. Going to go check out what other people have enjoyed, and are looking forward to! : )
Enjoying the #armchairBEA hashtag. Please add our fall catalog to your list if you would:

Thanks,

This one was a little tough because, there are soooo many books that I could have listed!
My TBR list is already too long. I'm a little worried what will happen after I get ideas from other blogs...
This is a lot of fun. I love looking at everyones favorite books.
I ended up picking my favourites that I've read this year so far, since thinking about all the awesome books at BEA is just too depressing, haha.
That was harder to put together than I expected! I hope you'll come check out my favorites at Red Hot Books
Posted about the six great giveaways from Long Tale Press and NWE Signatures. Don't miss your opportunity to get a free eBook copy of Steven George & The Dragon at http://www.armchairbea.com/2011/05/free-book-alert-steven-george-dragon-by.html.
The list was tough to narrow down, but I'm happy with my picks! Check it out: http://thebookelement.blogspot.com/2011/05/armchair-bea-day-2-best-of-2011.html
This was a really fun post to write. 2011 has got so many great books coming out!
This was so hard! It took a lot of time to think about what I wanted to list!
I posted my top five. Hard to narrow it down! Can't wait to see everyone else's picks. :)
I love this idea. I'm excited to see everyone's picks. :)
I posted my 6, breaking it down to 3 adults and 3 YA
Too hard
I posted five, but it was such a hard list to make! I've read so many good books this year.
Had to narrow the list down to 6 books. Hard to choose, though.
For whoever is moderating today's linky, I was dumb and messed mine up (#160). I re-entered as #186. Could someone delete 160 for me?
Thanks
(not so tech savvy) kathy from Read This Instead
kathy ... I will make the change tonight when I get home from work. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
So many good books. I picked my top 5 so far! Sure there will be lots more great books to come this year. :D
I'm sure I left so many books off, but it was fun thinking about all the ones I loved and am excited about. I'm definitely going to check a lot of them out later to see!
I have books I am reading, books I would like to read, and of course, books I have read...I will have to recommend http://edelweiss.abovethetreeline.com/CatalogOverview.aspx?catalogID=21924
My favorites so far (this was hard): Heist Society by Ally Carter and Sean Griswold's Head by Lindsey Leavitt.

Okay, I've just posted links to some good books published in 2011 that I've read and reviewed and also a list of 2011 books I'm hoping to read this year sometime.
Lots of good stuff. I'm really looking forward to this year's crop of new books.
My commenting apparatus is still not working - thank you google blogger. I'm hoping it will be back by tomorrow. When I try to comment on my own blog I get kicked off. Nice.
So, please, please bear with me. :)
Too much good stuff this year - so I made a mosaic of some of my faves so far.
It was hard picking my favorite books. I think I like too many. I like seeing what everybody has read it gives my a lot of ideas of books that I want to read.
mine are mostly dystopians! check out my list!

I've got a few that are older, but still looked really good!

One of these days I'll have to get around to reading something when it actually comes out :) Having so much fun reading everyone's posts!
oh man, just realized my fave books this 2011 are mostly from debut authors :)

I only had 5 but forgive me, I have been sick. At least I got the post up....whew
I am not always sure what is around the corner in my reading world and the surprises have been some of the best. I did sadly enter this post in the giveaway section first and you will see there is not giveaways in my favs/anticpating post.
