Networking, as a blogger and in life, is how we succeed. It means getting to know fellow bloggers outside of their blog posts. One of the highlights of BEA and BBC is the opportunity to meet dozens of fellow bloggers in person, to build new relationships and strengthen old ones. However, even though those of us not in NYC cannot meet other bloggers in person, we can get to know other bloggers better.
In the spirit of networking, those who were interested had the opportunity to interview one blogger and be interviewed by someone else. Today is the day to share with the book blogging community what you learned about your interviewee, giving all participants the opportunity to meet new people and build those vital relationships. Our goal was to help you meet someone new or get to know someone a bit better, to branch out away from discussions on books and get to know each other on a more personal level. The interviews can be fun and exciting, dramatic and extremely interesting.
If you participated, please post the link to your interview and go visit your fellow interview participants. If you did not sign up to be part of the round-robin interviewing, that's okay. Check out the links below and get to know as many bloggers as you can. Build those relationships and network, Armchair BEA-style!
If you did NOT participate, who cares? Share with us some of your favorite bloggers! Have you met them in real life? Share a little bit about each of them so that we can network with them as well. Please post the link to your post in the same Mr. Linky and have fun meeting new bloggers!
*sigh* I apologize... can you remove #20, I accidentally put the blog that is interviewing ME instead of who I'm interviewing. Too many Jennifers (all 3 of us are Jennifer) :). Sorry! I'm reposting the correct one now.
ReplyDeleteWAIT!!! No, now it shows up as #21. Please delete 21 NOT 20. YIKES! This is why I should NOT be doing this in the middle of the night and should be sleeping...
ReplyDeleteDone! Added my interview with SpadesHighReads!
ReplyDeleteinga from http://www.ingasilbergbooks.com
Sorry, I misunderstood that this was only for interviews. I thought I had read that an alternate topic was posting about some favorite blogs. If that is wrong then please erase #36. Again, sorry. :(
ReplyDeleteMy post sending love to some blogs are up! <3
ReplyDeleteI posted my interview with Bob from The Guilded Earlobe! He's a really funny guy, and his answers are spectacular. We talk mainly about audio books, but there are other things in there as well. Please come check it out!! :o)

So happy to have interviewed author Lisa Bergren over on the blog today! She's fascinating, versatile, and very prolific! And many many thanks to Jen at A Book and a Latte for a very fun interview as well.
ReplyDeleteSince Im just 2 weeks old here, did not get much of a chance to do an interview this time round. But am posting my list here of a few blogs that I definitely loved and hope u will enjoy too. Please do not be offended in case your blog is not on the list. Its too less a time to get to each blog you see....

ReplyDeleteThank you for all the interviews:) It is fun to get to know fellow bloggers.
ReplyDeletePosted a list of a few of my fave book blogs. I'll probably add to it throughout the day. I even remembered a couple of blogs I liked reading whose links I lost because of a computer crash. Thanks!

I didn't do an interview, but I listed some of my favorite book bloggers, and links to author interviews I've done! Yay for book bloggers!
ReplyDeleteI came a month late, so instead of participating, I watching at the sidelines of my armchair. I hope next year I find out about this sooner. I am having lots of fun reading all the wonderful blogs.
ReplyDeleteI too missed the interview time period of signing up. Since an alternate was suggested by BEA then i feel BEA should of provided some form of link support for those that followed that route.
ReplyDeleteSome of the blogger blogs are not letting me comment! GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteonly those that allow anonymous are going through. I tried with google, and OpenID. No luck.
I love getting to read all of these interviews! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI met an interesting blogger. She's a librarian like me and she's into storytelling. Her name is Hayley and her site looks interesting. I don't know if she is an Armchair BEA participant.
ReplyDeleteHope you guys like the bloggers I highlighted, yay!
ReplyDeleteI listed five blogs I love to read from fellow book bloggers as well as five blogs from upcoming authors you should all have on your wish list!
ReplyDeleteIt was so tough! I've "met" so many amazing bloggers since I started out. I hope I've included a few bloggers that not everyone has met, so they can meet them too!
