Choosing Armchair BEA instead of BEA: A testimonial

I received this comment to a post on my personal blog, and asked the commenter if I could share it here. It's a wonderful testimonial to what we've started:
I have to share this story....

Last night my husband called from the road and offered to send me to BEA! He had read my blog post that introduced Armchair BEA and since my summer plans have changed, he thought perhaps this might be a good get-away for me.

You know what I told him? NO --- I would rather stay home and be part of the Armchair BEA festivities. It sounds like such fun --- and with 115 participants and counting, it should be a blast.

Thank you so much for putting on this viritual event. There are many, many of us who greatly appreciate it.
As of this morning, we're up over 120 participants - and please don't panic if your name's not showing on the Participants page yet. Updates are coming soon!

And many thanks to Molly of My Cozy Book Nook for choosing to stay home and Armchair BEA with us!

Hip, Hip, Hooray for Armchair BEA!

This is a great testimonial to the fun and excitement brewing in the blogosphere. I'll be checking in to see what you're doing ...

Does Armchair BEA have it's own twitter account for postings, or should we just look for the hashtag to follow you?

Aw, that's so nice!

As much fun as the real thing seems, I have to admit the shear size of the event scares me. I'm a chicken!

I totally agree, give me home and bloggy friends over NYC any day.
